The environment was good at first but became very unsafe, and unpleasant. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very disappointing and heart breaking and I was not going to use my hard working credentials on foolishness. The Harmony Pro Remote is the first remote that I can recommend, which is consumer-accessible but includes features that I’ve come to expect from professional installs. I felt that trying to care for the residents was not the importance of the staff there but getting titles and positions were. I hung in there for 4 years, but watching and hearing all of the drama just began to be to much. I have never been at a job to where administration is the main cause of arguments, fights and ultimate disrespect. ![]() It was so bad that many of the staff that had been there from the start began to leave including myself. As for the staff, they became lazy, combative with one another. When I first started, everyone was more on the same mind frame, but as time went by, the administration started caring less about the employees and residents but more about titles and the money. The most stressful part about working there was some of the lazy staff and administrators. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? If you have the right mind set, attitude and proper training, it can be a very good place to work. I worked both the assistant living side and in the dementia unit and enjoyed both experiences. I also liked the pay as well as the residents. I liked that it was in a good location as far as distance. What is the best part of working at the company? The management team here does not care about their employees or more importantly about their residents it’s all about money at the end of the day get them in while you can figure out how to care for them later they accept people into the building that we can not take care of that we don’t have the equipment or enough people to handle the work of let something go wrong and/or you not be able to complete all your work because they want you to clock out at the end of your shift on the dot because you CAN NOT have over time here YOU will be reprimanded not to mention they expect you to break your back for about 4 or 5 dollars less on the hour than you should be making for the work you’re doing or the fact that when you tell them you have an issue or you don’t think something is right or safe they just insult your ability to do your job also favoritism is very common don’t be surprise to walk up to the nurses station and hear your favorite D.O.N talking bad about her employees that put in the most work to the ones who do absolutely nothing and that’s just the stuff that happens everyday but on the bright side your fellow coworkers the ones also being done wrong but management are amazing people
